March FAN Madness Review: Come to Me Quietly by: A.L Jackson

Synopsis:  From the acclaimed bestselling author of Lost to You and When We Collide comes

a new adult novel of one woman’s obsession: a man who’s as passionate as he is

elusive—and as tempting as he is trouble…

Aleena Moore is haunted by Jared Holt. It’s been six years since she’s seen her brother’s

best friend, the self-destructive bad boy she secretly loved in high school. As the years

pass, she knows it’s time to move on. Time to decide between a practical nursing degree

and her true dream as an artist. Time to get over Jared and give another guy a chance…

Just when she opens her heart to her friend Gabe, Aly returns home to find Jared

sleeping on her couch. The teenage boy she loved has grown into a man she can’t resist.

Covered in tattoos and lost in rage, he’s begging to be saved from his demons—the

memories of the day he destroyed his family. As the two reconnect, their passion is hot

enough to torch Aly’s judgment. But can she risk her future for a man who lives on the

edge of destruction?

Review: (I received this novel from the author for an honest review.)

Come to Me Quietly was a mesmerizing and emotional journey from beginning to end.

Aly spent her entire childhood hopelessly in love with one boy, Jared.  Even long before she was old enough to understand those emotions Jared was her knight in shining armor, saving her from the monsters that hid under her bed.  But when tragedy strikes Aly is forced to move on with her life without Jared.

Jared had always watched out for Aly.  She was one of the most important people in his life.  Where ever he went he always wanted Aly by his side.  But when fate intervenes and Jared suffers a tremendous loss, he becomes lost in a hazy world filled with grief.

Brought back together, six years later, have their lives changed too much for them to be together?  Can Aly open up and allow Jared in again?  Will Jared be able to escape his demons and allow himself happiness?

I truly loved Aly and Jared's story.  I am always a sucker for a damaged tattooed hot mess.  Damn.  I wanted to trace each gut wrenching scene on his body with my fingers.  I enjoyed the emotions each character brought out from one another.  What a beautiful story and I strongly recommend you pick up your copy today.

Happy Reading!!
