Good God, I loved this book. I knew from the first page I was in for something amazing and I was not disappointed. After the first few chapters the novel took on a dark Romeo and Juliet type feel. Star crossed lovers desperate for each other, but torn apart because of their families. This novel was not as dark as I had anticipated, but was by no means a happy fluffy story. It was suspenseful and raw with a glimmer of hope.
Vendetta is the story of Leighton an Devon. Two people born into a world where their futures have already been planned. As members of some of Boston's oldest and most notorious families they are underground royalty of sorts. Molded to fit certain roles they both know they can never be together, despite their own desires. But when new information comes to light Devon begins down a path for revenge and Leighton is in the way.
Can " temptation outweigh risk"? Can "want trump the consequences?" Find out today in Vendetta.
