BLOG TOUR & GIVEAWAY: Worth the Fight by: Vi Keeland

Goodreads: Click here

Synopsis:  It didn’t matter that the ref called it a clean hit. Nico Hunter would never be the same.

Elle has a good life. A job she loves, a great apartment, and the guy she’s been dating for more than two years is a catch and a half. But it’s boring…and she strives to keep it that way. Too many emotions are dangerous. Her own past is living proof of what can happen when you lose control.

Then Nico walks into Elle’s office and everything changes…for both of them. But what can the tattooed, hard-bodied MMA fighter and the beautiful and always steady attorney have in common? A lot more than they bargained for.

Review:  Gah!  I can never get enough of big strong muscular tatooed covered men who have sweet genuine caring hearts.  What a heady combination.  It makes my head swoon just thinking about it.

Nico fills this role beautifully.  As am MMA fighter he has to be tough.  No one willingly enters a steel cage to throw down with equally tough men unless they are bad ass.  Ladies, Nico is bad ass.  His career has been very sucessful but all at once that sucess caught up with him and everything changed in an instanse.

Elle is professional and determined.  Rising fro an unkind past she has established herself as a sucessful lawyer for a small firm.  Going though the motions, she is living life the best as best she can.  She is a little distant and a whole lot of numb, but this is how she has learned to survive.  Elle is completely unprepared for the way Nico is able to chip away her armor.  Nico is able to awaken things within Elle that she never thought possible.

Can Nico and Elle out run the demons that plague their pasts?  Will they be able to quelch the lingering greif that burns beneath the surface?

I love Vi Keeland's style.  The development and dialouge are well executed.  I was immediately drawn in.  She provided the characters the perfect blend of broken and stength.  Neither was overbearing and neither was frail.  They perfectly complimented each other.  I thoroughly enjoyed Nico's alphaisms.  The protective territorial ways.  I liked that Elle was meager.  She was not the damsil in distress.  Elle used her stubborness to keep Nico in line.

I look forward to reading Vinny's story next.  If he goes up to be half as sexy as Nico it is going to be a great book!

Happy Reading!!
