What a roller coaster. I can't believe the journey the author just brought me on. W.O.W. Simply wow.
Tally is an up and coming ballerina, expected to be the best in her field. She has the look, the grace, the skill and the determination to make it right to the top. With High School graduation on the horizon she cannot wait to move to New York and take the world by storm. Little does she know, things never go as smoothly as we would like. When tragedy strikes Tally must forge ahead, but can she do that with out losing herself in the process.
Lincoln Presley's story is similar to Tally's. He is talented and focused, only his gift is with baseball. A pitcher to be exact. With several MBL teams interested in picking him up in the upcoming draft, Linc must keep his eye on the ball. All of his energy and time needs to be focused on being the best damn pitcher he can be.
When Tally and Linc enter each other's lives both aren't looking for serious. Each just wants one night to blow off a little steam. Then why is Tally feeling things she hasn't felt in a long time? Why can't Linc get those sad eyes out of his mind? One night changes each of them forever, even if neither wants to admit it. But what happens when your heart doesn't see eye to eye with your head? When your desires don't match your dreams?
Right from the beginning the author had my attention. Seriously, what a first chapter. From that point forward she had be hocked. The author pulls you into Tally and Linc's lives and has you feeling their pain, their determination, their joy and their heartache. I was begging for the author to give each either happily ever after, one way or the other. There isn't a single aspect of this story I didn't love.
Go meet Tally and Linc. Let them take you on a journey.
